About The Role

As a Manager, you’ll lead client engagements and provide expert tax advice, compliance support, and strategic insights. You’ll work closely with Partners and Directors, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of our advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and oversee the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and other compliance obligations.
  • Deliver high-quality tax advisory services across a broad range of client matters.
  • Provide advice relating to Division 7A, trust distribution planning, tax planning and business structuring.
  • Advise clients on the taxation implications of companies, trusts, partnerships and corporate groups.
  • Lead client engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Coach, mentor and develop Consultants, Senior Consultants and Assistant Managers.

To be successful, you will bring

  • Proven experience within Australian Business Services and Tax Advisory, ideally at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
  • Strong experience reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and compliance obligations.
  • Proven experience in Division 7A, trust distributions, tax planning and business structuring matters.
  • Experience advising private businesses, family groups and entrepreneurial clients.
  • Experience gained within a mid-tier, large accounting firm or professional services environment.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Completed CA/CPA or equivalent qualification. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
