About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant General Manager to lead our operations in Chatham, United States. As the Restaurant GM, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, managing a diverse team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining profitability and operational excellence. This is a leadership position that requires a professional, decisive, and motivational approach to drive success in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop restaurant staff, fostering a positive team culture and maintaining high performance standards
- Manage P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, health codes, and company standards
- Implement and monitor inventory management and supply chain processes to minimize waste and control costs
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional initiatives to drive customer traffic and brand awareness
- Create and manage staff schedules to optimize labor costs while maintaining service quality
- Address customer concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Analyze sales data and operational metrics to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning and operational goals
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant operations management experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing P&L and controlling operational costs
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and health code compliance
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate diverse teams
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze operational metrics and sales data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Experience managing multiple restaurant locations or high-volume establishments
- Preferred: Background in marketing and promotional strategy development
- Preferred: Experience in fine dining or specialized cuisine establishments
