Junior HR Business Partner

About The Role
HR Business Partner
- Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with business goals.
- Provide advisory support on HR matters including onboarding, performance, and exits.
- Collaborate with OD to drive the performance management and talent development.
- Collaborate with the TA team to support recruitment efforts and strengthen employer branding.
- Drive HR strategies including workforce planning, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, performance-driven culture.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance.
- Support manpower planning and ensure resource readiness to meet business demands.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on compensation & benefits benchmarking and reward strategies.
- Implement HR policies, programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local labour regulations.
- Analyse HR metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations by working closely with the HR Shared Services team.
Rewards & Benefit
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SGS Malaysia's compensation and benefits strategy.
- Manage annual salary review, bonus, incentive, and merit increase processes.
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
- Analyze compensation trends and provide recommendations to management on reward-related matters.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, wellness initiatives, leave benefits, retirement schemes, and other employee offerings.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers, benefit providers, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of benefit programs.
- Support job evaluation, grading, salary structure reviews, and compensation governance activities.
- Degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in HR generalist/HRBP/Rewards, preferable with solid track records of successful implementation of the HR programmes and initiatives.
- Experienced in dealing with diversified business and managing various levels of stakeholders in a MNC environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer engagement and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and convert leads into sales.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
