About The Role

  • Define and safeguard the technical architecture of high-voltage products across customer projects and product roadmaps. 
  • Translate customer, market, safety, quality, manufacturing and cost requirements into robust product and system architectures
  • Guide cross-functional design decisions, and ensure scalable, compliant and reusable solutions from concept through industrialization and lifecycle support.
  • Clarify customer requirements, negotiate architecture trade-offs and support quotation, acquisition and change-request activities
  • Ensure that safety, legal, regulatory, cybersecurity, quality and customer-specific requirements are reflected in the product architecture
  • Ensure architecture planning is consistent with product lifecycle gates, quality targets, timing, cost and resource constraints
  • Support  technology decisions with architecture feasibility and impact assessments
  • Track architecture maturity, technical risks, interfaces, dependencies and deviations against agreed project and product targets

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in automotive or comparable high-voltage product/system development, with strong exposure to product architecture, cross-discipline engineering and product delivery
  • At least 4 years of experience as product architect, system architect, technical project lead, system lead, senior systems engineer or comparable role in high-voltage product development; experience across concept, development, validation and industrialization phases is required
  • Experience in functional leadership of cross-functional engineering teams and in steering experts across system, hardware, software, mechanical, validation, quality and manufacturing disciplines
  • Experience in international project teams and customer/supplier collaboration; ability to communicate complex technical architecture topics clearly in English
