About The Role

  • ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Maintain integrity of accounting records and reconciliations.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
  4. Support management with financial analysis and business insights.
  5. Improve finance processes and internal controls.
  6. Maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, taxation and controls.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with reporting deadlines.
  • Review accounting entries, journal vouchers, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards before posting to the general ledger.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and regulatory authorities for audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance reporting efficiency through continuous process improvement.
  • Support management with financial reporting, profitability analysis, and other ad hoc financial projects.
  • Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to finance team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain proper financial records and ensure all documentation is complete and audit-ready.
  • Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
  • AUTHORITY
  • Review and verify accounting transactions and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
  • Recommend process and control improvements.
  • Escalate compliance or financial issues to management.
  • Provide guidance to junior finance staff.
  • DELEGATION OF DUTIES

In the absence of the Senior Finance Executive, duties shall be delegated to a designated Finance Executive or authorized finance personnel appointed by the Assistant Manager, Finance Operations.
