Consultant / Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist | UAE

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Consultant / Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB-GYN) to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care , supporting women through routine and high-risk pregnancies while managing a broad range of gynecological conditions across different stages of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive obstetric and gynecological consultations and clinical assessments.
• Provide antenatal, prenatal, and postnatal care to patients.
• Monitor normal and high-risk pregnancies and identify potential complications at an early stage.
• Manage pregnancy-related conditions including gestational diabetes, hypertension, pre-eclampsia, anemia, and other obstetric complications.
• Perform routine gynecological examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common gynecological conditions and reproductive health concerns.
• Perform appropriate gynecological procedures within the approved clinical scope.
• Conduct and interpret relevant ultrasound and diagnostic investigations where appropriately trained.
• Manage menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, and other gynecological conditions.
• Provide contraceptive counseling and family-planning services.
• Provide preconception counseling and reproductive health guidance.
• Manage infertility-related assessments and coordinate referrals when advanced fertility services are required.
• Perform or assist with obstetric and gynecological surgical procedures according to training and clinical privileges.
• Provide appropriate care during labor and delivery and manage obstetric emergencies within the approved scope of practice.
• Perform cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures where appropriately credentialed.
• Provide post-operative and postnatal follow-up care.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, fertility specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential patient records.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes clearly to patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, infection-control, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, professional standards, clinical guidelines, and facility policies.

Requirements

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology / Obstetrics and Gynaecology .
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in both obstetric and gynecological clinical practice.
• Good knowledge of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
• Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary women's health team.
