Consultant / Specialist Plastic Surgeon | UAE

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant / Specialist Plastic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, and aesthetic procedures , with a strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and high-quality surgical outcomes.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary environment alongside dermatologists, maxillofacial surgeons, general surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive plastic surgery consultations and clinical assessments.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Perform plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic, and cosmetic surgical procedures within the approved clinical scope.
• Assess patients seeking reconstructive or aesthetic surgical treatment and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform appropriate pre-operative assessments and optimize patients for surgery.
• Provide detailed counseling regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, complications, and recovery.
• Perform post-operative assessments and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Monitor surgical outcomes and manage post-operative complications when required.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential patient records.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, dermatologists, maxillofacial surgeons, general surgeons, and other specialists.
• Maintain high standards of surgical safety, infection prevention, and patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing professional development.
• Stay updated with advances in plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic, and aesthetic surgery.
• Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, professional standards, clinical guidelines, and facility policies.

Requirements

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery / Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery or an equivalent specialty.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in plastic and reconstructive surgical practice.
• Excellent surgical judgment and treatment-planning skills.
• Strong understanding of modern plastic and aesthetic surgical techniques.
• Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
