Endodontics Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Endodontics Specialist to join a reputed dental healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE .

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and periapical tissues, with a particular focus on advanced root canal treatment and the preservation of natural teeth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive endodontic consultations and clinical examinations.
• Diagnose pulpal and periapical conditions using clinical findings and appropriate diagnostic imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical assessment.
• Perform primary and complex root canal treatments.
• Manage retreatment cases and challenging endodontic conditions.
• Treat dental trauma and associated pulpal and periapical complications.
• Perform appropriate emergency endodontic procedures for patients presenting with acute dental pain.
• Manage cases involving calcified canals, curved canals, and complex root canal anatomy.
• Perform pulp therapy and other appropriate endodontic procedures within the approved scope of practice.
• Assess cases requiring surgical endodontic intervention and coordinate treatment where appropriate.
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, and other dental specialists.
• Review and interpret periapical radiographs, CBCT scans, and other relevant diagnostic imaging.
• Provide post-treatment evaluation, follow-up, and long-term monitoring.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes clearly to patients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and continuing professional development.
• Maintain high standards of ethical, evidence-based dental practice.

Requirements

• BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent recognized dental qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Endodontics .
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong clinical experience in conventional and complex endodontic procedures.
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment-planning skills.
• Strong understanding of modern endodontic techniques and materials.
• Ability to manage complex and emergency endodontic cases.
• Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
• Strong attention to clinical detail.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
