About The Role

  • Roles & responsibilities
  • The Associate 1 will be predominantly responsible to -
  • Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Understand audit procedures performed by GDC
  • Familiarize with audit documentation tool –eAudIT
  • Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (IDEA, WISDOM,CASEWARE, MS Office)
  • Efficient and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with Quality
  • Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas
  • Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills
  • Participate in / lead team and group activities
  • Be an integral part of the GDC teams assigned to US audit engagements
  • Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Understand and learn audit procedures performed by GDC
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with the onshore and offshore team members.
  • Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time.
  • Maintain the chargeability of hours required to meet the targets set for the year
  • Be part of and nominate self in various firm initiatives and activities.
  • Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills

  • Educational qualifications
  • MBA / Masters’ degree / Post Graduate degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%)
  • Work experience
  • 0 – 1 year of full-time experience with a reputed company / firm
