As a Project Manager in Futures & Derivatives Clearing, you lead requirement analysis, testing, and post-implementation checks for new regulatory requirements, regulatory change, and strategic system transformations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement analysis, testing coordination, and post-implementation checks for regulatory change and strategic platform transformations
  • Drive remediation initiatives with technology partners to address reporting data quality issues and control gaps
  • Monitor and govern key regulatory reporting metrics, trends, and exceptions to support a strong controls environment
  • Assess business needs, articulate near-term priorities, and advise on technology solution options, risks, costs, and benefits
  • Communicate global and local business requirements to stakeholders, solicit feedback, and secure sign-off on project documentation
  • Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demonstrations, and development of training materials
  • Present project progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders and governance forums
  • Participate in issue prioritization forums and support decision-making through clear impact and risk articulation
  • Own day-to-day exception processing and supervise daily regulatory reporting obligations
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive solutions and test plans, including automated testing approaches using digital automation tools
  • Create and publish standard operating procedures and support awareness of evolving reporting obligations through industry engagement

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience performing business analysis for regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience leading testing activities, including test planning, execution coordination, and post-implementation validation
  • Knowledge of derivatives and markets products, including listed derivatives and over-the-counter cleared derivatives
  • Exposure to trade reporting regulations, including European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reporting, and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II) trade reporting
  • Experience identifying data quality issues, partnering with technology teams on remediation, and tracking outcomes through defined metrics
  • Ability to manage exception processing and supervise daily operational regulatory reporting activities
  • Ability to communicate requirements, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders, including senior business leadership
  • Experience creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and training materials
  • Experience using data and analytics or automation tools to support regulatory reporting processes (for example, Alteryx and Databricks)
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, including Microsoft Excel

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience developing automated testing solutions using digital automation platforms
  • Experience supporting strategic system migrations or platform transformations impacting regulatory reporting
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder alignment sessions to drive decisions on operating model or process changes
  • Experience presenting status, risks, and issues within structured governance routines
  • Experience participating in external industry forums or events related to regulatory reporting change
