The KDN Digital Audit team is looking for an experienced Data & Analytics technology professional to join as an assistant manager, support the implementation and scale-up of AI-enabled Data & Analytics routines that leverage innovative techniques to analyse volumes of transactional data and identify areas of audit risk.

In this role, you will collaborate with KPMG member firms and audit teams that have some experience with D&A and are looking to strengthen their adoption. You will support the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, from data acquisition and transformation through to the delivery of AI-driven insights, helping audit teams enhance risk assessment, improve audit quality, and drive greater efficiency. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in data engineering, analytics, ETL development, and ERP data management, who are passionate about applying modern technologies and AI-enabled techniques to solve complex business challenges and deliver impactful audit outcomes.

Support member firm’s D&A champion to identify suitable audit engagements for AI-enabled Data & Analytical (D&A) procedures.

Work with audit teams and client stakeholders to obtain, validate, and assess data from ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics/Navision.

Design, develop, and execute data acquisition, transformation, and analytics solutions using Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI to support audit objectives.

Build reusable data workflows, automation scripts, and analytics accelerators to improve operational efficiency and standardization.

Assist in planning & conducting kick-off meetings to align scope, expectations, timelines, and roles.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure data quality, completeness, and reliability for audit analytics.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to data acquisition, transformation logic, analytical procedures, findings, and technical solutions.

Contribute to the continuous enhancement of audit analytics, automation capabilities, AI-enabled procedures, and technology adoption across the audit practice.

Assist in setting up key elements for AI-enabled D&A procedures such as financial data structuring.

Interpret results from AI-enabled D&A procedures and support audit teams in identifying areas of risk or further testing.

Document and communicate insights derived from D&A procedures to audit teams.

Undertake larger and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager.

Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.

Ensure compliance with firm standards relating to data governance, confidentiality, risk management, information security, and quality requirements.

Educational qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/MCA

Work experience

5-7 years of experience in a large or globally recognized organization and/or Delivery Center environment

Having prior experience of working on D&A procedures on audit engagements would be an added advantage
