Regional Warehouse Executive – Central Province

Job Summary

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Alumex PLC’s regional warehouse in the Central Province, covering inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, SAP-based stock control, and the accurate and timely distribution of aluminium products to regional customers and dealers, while maintaining warehouse standards, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.

The main job functions of this position will include

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of aluminium products to regional customers and dealers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP and ensure stock levels are reconciled on a regular basis, maintaining zero discrepancies across all product categories.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, transporters, and the central warehouse to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment and order fulfilment.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits , investigating and resolving any stock variances or discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and ISO standards , maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment at all times.
  • Manage and supervise warehouse staff , including allocation of duties, day-to-day performance monitoring, and on-the-job coaching and guidance.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales, distribution, and finance teams to ensure smooth regional customer order processing, timely delivery, and accurate invoicing.
  • Prepare and submit accurate warehouse performance reports and KPI dashboards covering stock movement, order fulfilment rates, and warehouse productivity on a regular basis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization opportunities within warehouse operations and present recommendations to management.

The suitable candidate should possess

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university; other relevant professional qualifications will also be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on warehouse management experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) or Inventory Management (IM) modules is strongly preferred; candidates with SAP experience will be given priority consideration.
  • Candidates residing in close proximity to the Central Province are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain principles .
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications , particularly Excel, for stock reporting, data analysis, and operational dashboards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide warehouse staff effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and consistently meet operational deadlines.
  • A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
