
Global Learning & Development Lead

About The Role

As our Global Learning & Development Lead, you will shape and deliver the global learning agenda for approximately 6,000 employees across regions, functions, and business divisions. This is a highly visible role that combines strategy, transformation, leadership development, and hands-on execution to build the capabilities needed for today and the future.
 
Your Responsibilities
- Own, further develop and execute our global Learning & Development strategy aligned with business, talent, and culture priorities.
- Lead the learning workstream of the global HRIS/LMS implementation, including governance, processes, adoption, and reporting.
- Design, govern and deploy Stäubli's global leadership development framework.
- Drive AI literacy (and other future-skills initiatives), promoting responsible and impactful use of AI across the organization.
- Build and coordinate a global learning network, partnering with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and functional as well as local learning stakeholders.
- Measure learning effectiveness, manage external vendors and budgets, and continuously improve the global learning portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Learning, HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Capability, including global or multi-country initiatives.
- Proven experience developing and implementing L&D strategies linked to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Strong expertise in leadership development, learning design, and adult-learning methodologies and program delivery.
- Experience leading HRIS, LMS, or learning technology implementations from design through launch and adoption.
- Exposure to AI literacy, digital upskilling, or future-skills programs is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading initiatives in a matrix or decentralized organization.
- Fluency in English (C1) is required. German and/or French highly beneficial.
