The role | Te tūnga
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for a wide range of HR enquiries, providing high-quality advice, coordination and administrative support to managers and employees across the Department. You'll play a key role in delivering efficient HR services, supporting recruitment, employee lifecycle activities, position management and HR initiatives while ensuring accuracy, consistency and excellent customer service.
Working as part of a collaborative HR Services team, you'll build strong relationships across the business, contribute to continuous improvement, and provide practical support to managers with HR processes and people matters. Every day brings variety, with opportunities to support multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience delivering high-quality HR administration or coordination services
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
- Sound knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across a range of stakeholders
