Founder Associate Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the founding team of a fast-growing, pre-seed AI-powered recruiting startup that is rethinking how top talent lands roles at VC-backed startups. You'll work side-by-side with founders to connect exceptional candidates with career-defining opportunities at some of the most exciting companies in tech — many of them in AI.

This is an intensely hands-on, in-person internship. The team lives and works together in a hacker-house in San Francisco, enabling zero-commute days, tight feedback loops, and deep team bonding. If you thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments, this role is built for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work directly with founders on day-to-day operations and growth initiatives
• Own end-to-end candidate experience workflows — from intake through placement
• Connect with hundreds of inbound candidates daily, ensuring an outstanding experience
• Coordinate introductions between candidates and hiring managers at top startups
• Collaborate cross-functionally with founders, candidates, and client companies
• Drive and iterate on internal processes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
• Take ownership of complex initiatives with real, measurable outcomes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Willingness and excitement to live and work in a hacker-house setup in San Francisco
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• At least one prior internship of 3+ months duration
• Demonstrated experience in fast-paced environments — consulting, sales, startups, or venture capital
• Comfort operating in entrepreneurial, "figure-it-out" settings
• Something outstanding on your profile: top academic performance, strong projects, active GitHub, notable extracurriculars, etc.
• Willing to commit to 6 long working days per week
• Highly driven, self-directed, and motivated by real outcomes

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a founder-led or early-stage startup environment
• Familiarity with recruiting, HR tech, or talent acquisition workflows

LOCATION & WORK ARRANGEMENT

This role is fully on-site in San Francisco, CA. The team operates out of a shared hacker-house — living and working together is a core part of the experience and culture. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
