ABOUT THE ROLE
We're a growth-stage direct-to-consumer healthtech and telemedicine company operating at the intersection of personalized prescription skincare, wellness, and eCommerce — and we're looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our financial operations as we continue to grow. You'll own the month-end close, oversee core accounting functions, and serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams across supply chain, operations, and leadership.
This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and own the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Oversee core accounting functions: revenue recognition, inventory, intercompany, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
- Review and manage the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages.
- Perform balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses to deliver actionable business insights.
- Manage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization.
- Partner with Supply Chain to improve inventory controls, reporting, and forecasting — including cycle counts and inventory turns.
- Develop, enhance, and document accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to support scale (e.g., ERP optimizations, automation tooling).
- Manage, mentor, and develop staff accountants to build a high-performance team.
- Support external audits and readiness for public company reporting requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive accountability, transparency, and operational efficiency.

- Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience across revenue recognition, inventory management, intercompany accounting, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets.
- Familiarity with treasury activities: cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff — strong people management skills are essential.
- Experience supporting external audits and public company reporting readiness.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Track record of driving process improvements and automation to scale accounting operations.
Nice to Have
- Background in eCommerce, healthcare, telemedicine, or inventory-based businesses is highly preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with complex, multi-entity operations.
