Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our Electronic Equities Team , contributing to the development and evolution of a critical Client Reporting platform .

This application plays a key role in the generation of regulatory and business monitoring reports, serving both internal stakeholders and external compliance requirements. The team focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of reporting data.

The technology stack is primarily centered around Java and Spring frameworks , with modern frontend applications built using Angular and React . This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment within the Investment Banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical reporting applications and services.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions following best engineering practices.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
• Requirements analysis
• Solution design
• Development
• Testing
• Code reviews
• Technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support application releases and work with production support teams to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support and troubleshooting for production incidents when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes, automation, testing, and operational excellence.
• Work effectively within Agile development teams and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience .
• Strong experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Experience with reporting, data processing, or business intelligence platforms.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience with Java 8+
• Solid experience with:

• Experience with containerization and cloud-native technologies:

• Experience within Corporate & Investment Banking environments.
