Data Analyst

Data Analyst Location: Norfolk, VA Clearance Required: Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly Exempt The Data Analyst will consult with executives and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Create reports for internal teams, external clients and/or stakeholders • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data • Visualize data with graphs, infographics and other methods • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions • Structure large data sets to find usable information • Process information with a team of analysts and other associates • Craft presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree any discipline • Secret Security Clearance • Must have 10 years Surface Navy experience including shipboard training and operations • Experience with Surface Ship training metrics • Experience with Naval Information Systems • Experience of Microsoft Office Suite of Program tools • Advanced use with Microsoft Excel to develop data products • Experience performing technical data and system analysis • Experience looking at data and identify patterns, problems, or analysis opportunities • Knowledge of Surface ship training and certification process C2 Essentials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
