Research Associate, Research

Key areas of responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with analysts on all aspects of equity research, as well as coordinate with other analysts and associates
• Develop and maintain industry databases, perform peer comparisons, and build financial models for companies
• Prepare detailed research reports highlighting key findings, investment theses, financial forecasts, catalysts, and valuation analyses
• Conduct thorough due diligence by engaging with company management and industry experts
• Monitor industry news and stay updated on company developments
• Assist in conducting comprehensive industry and company research
• Respond promptly to sales and client requests for information and analysis
• Participate in company briefings, industry events, roadshows, and conferences

Requirements

• Degree holder (graduated) in mathematics, statistic, finance or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of full-time relevant experience in equity research
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and make informed decisions
• Proficient in financial modelling and different valuation techniques, while embracing innovation and new technologies to enhance the research process
• Self-motivated, diligent‎, multi-tasking with high standards for excellence and attention to details
• Highly proficient in excel and good numeracy skills
• Well rounded, and a team player
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Fluency in both written and verbal English, with Chinese language is a plus but not essential
• Immediate available is highly preferred
• Experience in healthcare or biopharmaceutical sector is preferred but not a must
