Consultant / Specialist - Implantologist in a Leading Healthcare Facility

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant / Specialist Implantologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive implant dentistry services, including treatment planning, implant placement, restoration coordination, and management of complex implant cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental and implant assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients requiring dental implants.
- Perform single, multiple, and full-arch implant placement procedures.
- Manage complex implant cases, including bone-deficient and compromised sites where appropriately trained.
- Perform bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and other supporting procedures where qualified.
- Coordinate implant restoration planning with prosthodontists and restorative dentists.
- Evaluate and manage implant-related complications and peri-implant conditions.
- Utilize digital dentistry, CBCT imaging, and guided implant surgery where applicable.
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with periodontists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other dental specialists.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and continuing professional development.
Requirements
- BDS/DDS/DMD or equivalent recognized dental degree.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Implantology, Oral Implantology, Implant Dentistry, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, or a relevant specialty .
- Relevant post-specialty clinical experience in dental implantology.
- Proven experience in implant placement and comprehensive implant treatment planning.
- Experience with full-mouth rehabilitation and complex implant cases is an advantage.
- Experience with digital implantology and guided surgery is preferred.
- Valid professional registration/license in the country of practice.
- Excellent clinical, surgical, and patient-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Consultant candidates: Appropriate senior-level qualifications and substantial post-specialty experience.
- Candidates with UK specialist qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are highly encouraged to apply.
