Vice President, Sales Enablement
Job Summary
The Vice President of Sales Enablement is an executive leader who sets the strategic vision and drives enterprise-wide execution of a best-in-class sales enablement function. T his role serves as the primary architect of how the organization equips, develops, and aligns sales and operations teams to deliver the best patient outcomes —partnering with Marketing, Operations, Learning & Development , Product, Clinical teams and the C-Suite to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role owns both the strategy , execution and the budget for enablement, ensuring investments are prioritized, accountable, and tied directly to practice performance and revenue growth.

Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Executive Leadership
- Own the long-term sales enablement vision and translate corporate strategy into a multi-year roadmap aligned to revenue, patient experience, and market priorities.
- Manage the enablement budget and P&L, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest-impact initiatives and investments are clearly tied to business outcomes.
- Represent sales enablement at the senior leadership and Board level; serve as a strategic executive partner across Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product and L earning & D evelopment .
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a team including Director s of Sales Effectiveness and two Senior Manager s of Sales Enablement, with clear accountability, growth paths, and succession planning.
- Build a high-performing sales enablement organization with a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and field partnership.
Field Readiness & Sales Content
- Ensure the field sales organization is fully equipped at all times —with the skills, knowledge, tools, and content needed to perform at a high level and deliver a consistent patient experience.
- Oversee the development and governance of all sales content—playbooks, talk tracks, selling tools, and consultation frameworks—ensuring alignment with buyer needs, brand standards, and sales strategy.
- Own the onboarding program strategy, driving faster ramp- up for new hires and ongoing development for the full field team.
Consumer Experience & Cross-Functional Integration
- Champion a patient-centric approach across all enablement work, embedding the full consumer journey—from consultation through post-sale—into every program.
- Lead enterprise change initiatives across Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance . Drive adoption of new tools and methodologies through rigorous change management.
Technology, Data & Performance
- Define the enablement technology strategy (CRM, consult tools , enablement platforms) and build an enterprise KPI dashboard connecting training investment to revenue, field execution , and consumer satisfaction outcomes.
- Champion a data-informed culture to continuously optimize enablement investments and demonstrate measurable ROI.

- Revenue & Field Impact — Sales teams consistently exceed targets; enablement investment is directly linked to improved conversion, case value, and field readiness and execution.
- Consumer Experience — A differentiated, branded patient experience reflected in stronger Google ratings and NPS.
- Faster Onboarding — Reduced new hire time-to-productivity through best-in-class onboarding programs.
- Organizational Alignment — Sales, Marketing, Operations, and L&D operate from shared playbooks with minimal friction.
- Enablement as a Strategic Asset — Executive leadership views enablement as a critical, ROI-proven growth driver with disciplined budget stewardship.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years in sales enablement, sales leadership, training, or go-to-market strategy; minimum 5 years at a senior director or VP level.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling enterprise enablement functions that drive sales performance, field readiness, and consumer experience.
- Proven ability to lead multi-tiered teams, manage budgets, and influence at the C-suite level; exceptional communication and executive presence.
- Deep expertise in adult learning principles, sales content development, sales training methodologies, and change management.
- Strong command of performance analytics and KPIs; experience with CRM and enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot , Seismic).
- Experience in multi-unit healthcare, retail, or consumer-facing organizations strongly preferred.
