This role is primarily focused on driving the company's sustainability and ESG agenda by coordinating sustainability reporting processes, monitoring environmental and occupational health & safety performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and international reporting frameworks. In this position, you will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to collect and analyze sustainability data, support ESG ratings and reporting activities, monitor regulatory and industry developments, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen corporate sustainability, resource efficiency, and workplace health and safety culture.

Your Main Responsibilities

To manage the process of collecting, verifying, and consolidating sustainability data from different departments in order to support the preparation of sustainability reports, Corporate Governance and Compliance Reports, and similar reports.

To monitor, analyze, and develop opportunities for improvement regarding environmental performance indicators related to energy, fuel, and water consumption, waste management, and resource efficiency.

Coordinating efforts to comply with the requirements of sustainability and ESG indices and making the necessary preparations to adhere to international reporting frameworks.

Working with related parties around ESG and sustainability issues such as ratings agencies, consultants,domestic and international authorities and subject matter experts

To monitor global and local ESG and sustainability trends and to evaluate and report on the impact of relevant developments on company processes.

Working closely with related parties and monitoring the progress of sustainability and Safety Projects to strengthen OHS culture, employee awareness, and corporate sustainability

Monitoring environmental, occupational health and safety legislation and standards, preparing reports in case of changes, and conducting compliance efforts.

In accordance with Law No. 6331 on Occupational Safety and Health, periodic inspections are carried out, legal documents are kept up-to-date, and legal compliance is monitored.

Qualities We're Looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences or a related discipline along with Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (Class C or B) qualification; international certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) considered an asset

1 - 4 years of experience in sustainability, ESG and Safety

Proven knowledge in sustainability indices, value creation and impact assessment and experience in relevant reporting standards and frameworks

Knowledge of related carbon footprint measurement, GHG emission calculation processes

Knowledge of national and international laws and regulations related to sustainability would be a plus

Attention to detail, strong communication and relationship-building skills

Analytical skills necessary to evaluate data, assess feasibility, and develop project ideas, as well as skills necessary to translate strategies and concepts into concrete practice

Ability to multi-task and work with cross functional teams

High commitment to corporate values, integrity and ethical conduct

Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
