Management Consulting Expert

This is an opportunity for an experienced management consultant to apply strategic and analytical expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI <systems.You> will assess complex consulting deliverables, including market analyses, strategic recommendations, financial models, and business cases.The role requires strong judgment and the ability to distinguish high-quality consulting work from generic or superficial <analysis.You> will develop precise evaluation criteria and provide structured, evidence-based assessments of AI-generated and human-created work.Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the quality, reasoning, and reliability of AI model <outputs.You> will collaborate with senior reviewers while working independently in a flexible, remote, and asynchronous environment.This role is particularly suited to consultants who enjoy rigorous problem-solving and want to apply their professional expertise to the development of next-generation AI.

Accountabilities

• Design precise, task-specific grading criteria for consulting deliverables, including market analyses, strategic recommendations, financial models, and business cases.
• Evaluate AI-generated and human-created work against established criteria and assign consistent, evidence-based scores.
• Provide detailed written justifications for evaluation scores to ensure assessments are transparent, reproducible, and defensible.
• Apply deep consulting expertise to assess the quality of structured problem-solving, strategic thinking, quantitative analysis, and business recommendations.
• Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and rapidly refine evaluation work based on established standards.
• Maintain a high level of consistency and attention to detail when evaluating complex consulting outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high evaluation quality.
• Contribute professional insights that help improve AI model reasoning, analytical performance, and output quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in management consulting or a closely related strategy-focused role.
• Experience at a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm, such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or an equivalent organization.
• Strong command of structured problem-solving, market sizing, financial modeling, business-case development, and strategic analysis.
• Ability to critically evaluate complex business problems and distinguish rigorous consulting analysis from generic frameworks or unsupported conclusions.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain analytical judgments and recommendations.
• Highly detail-oriented, consistent, and comfortable applying objective evaluation standards.
• Strong ability to receive feedback and calibrate professional judgment against established criteria.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment while meeting deadlines.
• Prior experience with AI training, AI evaluation, human-data projects, or related work is preferred.
