This role offers the opportunity to support high-impact financial due diligence engagements across complex <transactions.You> will analyze financial performance, assess earnings sustainability, and help identify risks and value drivers for clients.Working across buy-side and sell-side engagements, you will partner closely with experienced managers and senior leaders.The position combines rigorous financial analysis with exposure to diverse industries, transactions, and business <models.You> will contribute directly to client deliverables while developing your expertise in Quality of Earnings and transaction advisory.The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, analytical, and designed to give high-performing professionals meaningful responsibility.The role is remote, with candidates in or near the Dallas/Fort Worth area particularly encouraged to apply.
Accountabilities
- Perform Quality of Earnings analyses, including revenue and EBITDA normalization, working capital assessments, and evaluation of key financial trends.
- Analyze historical financial statements and underlying financial data to evaluate earnings sustainability, business performance, and potential risks.
- Identify and investigate unusual, non-recurring, or otherwise significant items that may affect reported financial performance.
- Support buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from data collection through analysis and final deliverables.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses, reports, schedules, and other client-facing deliverables with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage information requests and support the efficient flow of financial data throughout diligence processes.
- Collaborate with managers, senior team members, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables are accurate, consistent, timely, and aligned with engagement objectives.
- Clearly communicate analytical findings to internal stakeholders and contribute to client discussions when appropriate.
- Apply financial modeling, Excel, and emerging automation or intelligence tools to improve the efficiency and quality of analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in public accounting, with audit or transaction advisory experience preferred.
- Direct experience with Quality of Earnings analysis or financial due diligence is strongly preferred.
- CPA certification or demonstrated progress toward CPA qualification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information.
- Curiosity and fluency with automated intelligence and emerging technologies used to enhance financial analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, transaction-focused environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration and communication with team members.
- A proactive, intellectually curious mindset and willingness to contribute ideas that improve processes, analyses, and client outcomes.
