This part-time role provides administrative and operational support to a team focused on helping scholars prepare for college, careers, internships, and postsecondary <success.You> will contribute to maintaining accurate program data, tracking scholar participation, and keeping opportunity resources current.The role also supports the coordination of meetings, trainings, events, and internship program <logistics.You> will work across internal teams, schools, partner organizations, and external stakeholders to keep information and activities well organized.This is an opportunity to contribute to an education-focused mission centered on access, equity, and student achievement.The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated by work that can positively influence underserved communities.The position offers a hybrid working environment combining remote work, office time, and travel to school sites.
Accountabilities
- Support the maintenance and regular updating of career readiness and postsecondary success data tracking systems and dashboards.
- Assist with logistics and administrative activities related to internship and career readiness programs, including scheduling, coordination, and materials preparation.
- Maintain databases of external opportunities for scholars and counselors, including scholarships, internships, trainings, and other career or postsecondary resources.
- Track and organize data related to scholar participation in internship, career readiness, and postsecondary success programs.
- Coordinate meeting, training, and event logistics, including scheduling, documentation, communications, and preparation of materials.
- Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, filing, document preparation, data organization, and other team coordination activities.
- Support communication between the Career Readiness and Postsecondary Success Team, schools, partner organizations, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, achievement-oriented environment focused on expanding educational and career opportunities for scholars.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across different groups.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive, high-expectations team culture.
- Demonstrated growth mindset, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Commitment to educational equity and to expanding opportunities for students from historically underserved communities.
- Alignment with an anti-racist, student-centered approach and a genuine belief that all scholars deserve access to high-quality educational opportunities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment involving remote work, office responsibilities, and travel to school sites.
- Successful completion of required background screening and health clearance processes.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or foreseeable visa sponsorship.
