This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager National Networks based in the United States.

The Program Manager will play a central role in coordinating complex national provider network initiatives from planning through execution.This position connects network development, contracting, provider operations, analytics, and technology teams to keep programs aligned and moving <forward.You> will manage integrated workplans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams.The role provides high visibility through executive reporting, leadership updates, and governance <support.You> will translate complex program information into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and decisions for senior stakeholders.The position also offers an opportunity to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve planning, reporting, risk management, and collaboration.This is a fully remote opportunity suited to an experienced program leader who thrives in complex healthcare environments and drives execution through influence and accountability.

Accountabilities

  • Establish and maintain integrated program workplans covering provider network initiatives such as network expansion, contracting, onboarding, and provider lifecycle optimization.
  • Facilitate recurring program cadences, including weekly status meetings, risk reviews, leadership updates, and governance sessions.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and commitments while driving accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized risk and issue management framework, proactively identifying blockers, interdependencies, and mitigation actions.
  • Ensure risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies are clearly communicated to the appropriate stakeholders and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready weekly summaries covering progress against plan, key risks, mitigation strategies, upcoming milestones, and decisions required.
  • Synthesize complex program information into actionable insights for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Build and maintain standardized templates, reporting tools, and processes to promote consistency and transparency across initiatives.
  • Support executive leadership presentations and updates for senior management and governance forums.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Network Development & Contracting, Provider Operations, Data & Analytics, IT, and system configuration teams.
  • Ensure alignment between enterprise-level strategy and market-level execution, creating clarity around roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and ownership.
  • Lead large, cross-functional project teams involving 20+ core members and multiple external vendors.
  • Manage complex, multimillion-dollar programs while maintaining focus on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Promote and utilize AI-enabled tools to improve project planning, execution, reporting, risk management, stakeholder communications, and decision-making.
  • Apply structured project and program management methodologies to drive timely execution and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other related duties and support strategic initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field required; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience, with 4+ years of experience in provider network development, contracting, or provider lifecycle management preferred.
  • Strong experience in the healthcare payer industry, with knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification or training required; PgMP certification preferred.
  • Deep understanding of project management processes, methodologies, tools, and development lifecycles, ideally including Agile approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multimillion-dollar programs involving large cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with project and program management software.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, stakeholder-management, and active-listening skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, gain consensus, and establish effective approaches to complex challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing workstreams and deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to stakeholder expectations.
  • A strong sense of urgency, accountability, customer service orientation, and commitment to execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative, and continuously evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use emerging and AI-enabled technologies to improve program efficiency and outcomes.
