This is a fully remote opportunity for a customer-focused professional to support clients through the initial stages of auto and property insurance <claims.You> will be responsible for handling First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls, gathering accurate claim information, and guiding customers through the claims process.The role combines customer service, claims administration, and decision-making in a fast-paced, high-volume <environment.You> will play an important role in delivering a compassionate and efficient experience to customers during potentially stressful situations.Success requires strong communication, attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality <standards.You> will work within a supportive environment that values collaboration, professional development, flexibility, and customer-centric service.This role offers an opportunity to build valuable insurance and claims expertise while contributing to meaningful customer outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Handle First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls for both auto and property insurance customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to auto and property claims, applying appropriate judgment when making claim-related decisions.
  • Provide a consistently exceptional customer experience in line with established claims service and quality standards.
  • Communicate with customers using empathy, care, and professionalism, particularly when assisting them during challenging circumstances.
  • Gather, verify, and accurately document all relevant information concerning reported losses.
  • Clearly explain the claims process, available options, and next steps to customers.
  • Arrange appropriate inspection methods and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain accurate and complete claims information while ensuring timely handling of customer requests.
  • Manage a high volume of calls and tasks efficiently while maintaining service quality and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional customer service experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships.
  • Strong empathy, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective when handling sensitive customer situations or challenging conversations.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment when handling customer inquiries and claim-related information.
  • Familiarity with claims administration or insurance environments is an asset.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
