This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an ASG - Customer Assistance Representative based in Canada.

As a Customer Assistance Representative, you’ll provide critical roadside support to members during stressful and time-sensitive situations.Working remotely, you’ll combine empathy, clear communication, and urgency to coordinate assistance <efficiently.You>’ll use mapping and multiple technology systems to accurately identify customer locations and dispatch authorized service providers.Your ability to remain calm and solution-oriented will directly contribute to customer safety and satisfaction.The role offers structured paid training and ongoing development in a supportive, recognition-focused environment.This is a full-time opportunity supporting ongoing business operations, with flexible scheduling across evenings, nights, and <weekends.You>’ll play an essential role in delivering reliable assistance when customers need it most.

Accountabilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to members requesting roadside assistance, providing reassurance and guidance throughout the interaction.
  • Assess customer situations, identify their location using mapping software, and determine the appropriate assistance required.
  • Dispatch authorized roadside service providers and coordinate support while maintaining a strong focus on customer safety.
  • Navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously to document interactions, manage requests, and provide accurate information.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and service providers in both French and English.
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established processes, service standards, and operational procedures.
  • Adapt to high-volume, fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
  • Participate in paid virtual classroom training and ongoing role-specific learning.
  • Use approved technology and AI-enabled tools where applicable to support daily tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Canada and be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 months of customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Windows-based environments.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and use Google Maps or similar mapping tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Demonstrated empathy, adaptability, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when assisting customers in stressful or urgent situations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and other shifts as required.
  • For the work-from-home setup, a hardwired internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
  • Must have access to a quiet, distraction-free workspace; webcam presence is required during training and production.
