This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer, Expansion (all levels) based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to build products that help growing companies manage increasingly complex applications and <workflows.You>’ll work as a product-focused, full-stack engineer with end-to-end ownership of meaningful projects.The position combines software development, product thinking, technical decision-making, and close collaboration with design and product <teams.You>’ll contribute to a modern cloud platform designed to help developers deploy and scale applications without managing complex infrastructure themselves.The environment is fast-moving and collaborative, with opportunities to influence both the technology and the way engineering teams <work.You>’ll help evolve the codebase as the platform grows while keeping usability, reliability, and developer experience at the center of your decisions.This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys ownership, pragmatic problem-solving, and building products at scale.

Accountabilities

  • Build new products and user-facing capabilities that help larger teams and organizations manage applications as their needs grow.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of full-stack projects, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through implementation and delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Contribute to team planning, roadmapping, goal-setting, and prioritization while helping define the direction of new product areas.
  • Improve and mature the codebase, architecture, and engineering practices as the platform scales in users, functionality, and complexity.
  • Make pragmatic technical and product decisions while balancing user experience, maintainability, reliability, and delivery speed.
  • Work across the technology stack, contributing to backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and other components as needed.
  • Help shape engineering culture, processes, and best practices as the organization continues to grow.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and contribute to maintaining reliable production systems.
  • Stay curious about new technologies, tools, and approaches that can improve the developer experience and product capabilities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience building and shipping software, with experience delivering production-quality products.
  • Experience working closely with product and design stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the stack and take ownership of projects both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience working with multiple programming languages and the ability to learn new technologies effectively.
  • Strong product mindset and ability to connect technical decisions with user needs and business outcomes.
  • Excellent judgment and a pragmatic approach to solving ambiguous or complex problems.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative, particularly in fast-growing environments where responsibilities can evolve.
  • Experience working at a small or high-growth technology company is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with modern software build and deployment tooling is a plus.
  • Experience building products for growth-oriented organizations or modern enterprise users is desirable.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Terraform, or Temporal is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, humility, integrity, and a demonstrated willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.

  • Competitive base salary of $170,000–$290,000, depending on career level, experience, transferable skills, location, market conditions, and business needs.
