This is a senior strategic leadership role focused on creating cohesion across a complex, technology-driven <organization.You> will connect enterprise priorities with execution across distributed engineering and product teams, helping critical initiatives move forward with greater speed and clarity.The role serves as a central point of integration across planning, customer signals, workforce capabilities, vendor relationships, and strategic <communications.You> will influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, often without direct authority, to align priorities, dependencies, decisions, and resources.A major focus will be translating complex technology strategies into actionable plans and compelling executive-level <narratives.You> will also help strengthen workforce readiness, strategic partnerships, and coordinated delivery across large-scale transformation initiatives.This opportunity is well suited to an experienced strategic operator who combines technology fluency, executive influence, operational rigor, and strong storytelling.
Accountabilities
Lead strategic planning and integration across a broad portfolio of core engineering and technology platforms, coordinating distributed product teams and ensuring critical initiatives are appropriately sequenced and executed.
Connect dependencies, priorities, backlogs, decisions, and outcomes across domains to accelerate delivery of enterprise-level initiatives and reduce fragmentation or duplicated effort.
Partner with digital product leaders to capture, structure, and incorporate customer needs and signals into technology priorities, particularly where dedicated business architecture capabilities are limited.
Streamline stakeholder engagement and reduce repeated or competing requests by creating clearer processes for collecting, prioritizing, and communicating business and customer input.
Drive workforce planning and future-readiness initiatives by aligning organizational capacity and capability development with anticipated demand and strategic priorities.
Support specialized onboarding and capability-building initiatives designed to strengthen infrastructure and technology talent pipelines.
Coordinate engagement with strategic external vendors and technology partners, ensuring expectations, priorities, performance, and value delivery remain aligned with enterprise objectives.
Develop clear and consistent strategic narratives that communicate technology strategy, progress, risks, outcomes, and business value to senior leadership and governance forums.
Prepare and curate executive-level materials for OKR reviews, operational risk and return discussions, technology execution reviews, and board-level conversations.
Establish operating cadences, decision rights, accountability mechanisms, and processes that improve execution across complex, multi-location organizations.
Lead and develop high-performing teams while supporting organizational transformation, systems implementations, integrations, and other large-scale change initiatives.
Use data, insights, and technology fluency to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure strategic plans translate into measurable organizational outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
10+ years of progressive experience leading strategic initiatives within complex, technology-driven organizations.
Demonstrated experience developing and operationalizing enterprise technology strategies and translating complex objectives into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
Experience in large-scale digital transformation environments such as financial services, insurance, technology, consulting, or other highly regulated industries is highly relevant.
Strong understanding of technology and product operating models, with experience partnering across engineering, product, and business functions to prioritize initiatives and deliver strategic value.
Proven ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, build alignment, negotiate effectively, and drive outcomes without relying solely on formal authority.
Exceptional strategic communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, compelling narratives for executive and governance audiences.
Strong people leadership and talent development experience, including building high-performing teams, establishing accountability, developing leaders, and supporting succession planning.
Strong operational expertise and a track record of optimizing processes, improving execution, and delivering consistent results in complex environments.
Advanced business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and technology insights to inform strategic decisions.
Demonstrated change leadership experience across major transformations, technology implementations, organizational integrations, or other enterprise-scale initiatives.
Innovative, process-oriented mindset with strong learning agility, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively across multiple locations and organizational levels in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Benefits
- Annual compensation: $177,000–$243,750, based on experience and qualifications.
