This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor Databricks Pleno based in Brazil.

As a Mid-Level Databricks Consultant, you will contribute to data engineering projects focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing modern data <pipelines.You> will work extensively with Databricks to support data ingestion, transformation, integration, and delivery processes.The role offers the opportunity to apply Python, PySpark, and SQL to solve real-world data challenges and improve data platform <performance.You> will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable and scalable data solutions.This is a fully remote opportunity within a collaborative environment that values initiative, efficiency, innovation, and measurable results.The initial engagement is for four months, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs and <performance.It> is an excellent opportunity for a data professional looking to deepen their expertise in Databricks and contribute to impactful data engineering initiatives.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Databricks to support ingestion, transformation, and data availability requirements.
  • Build scalable and reliable data processing workflows using Python and/or PySpark.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
  • Implement and support ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows across different sources and systems.
  • Contribute to the evolution, stability, and performance of the data platform.
  • Analyze technical requirements and translate business needs into effective data engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Apply best practices for data engineering, code quality, maintainability, and pipeline performance.
  • Use Git and version control practices to support collaborative development when applicable.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes, workflows, and data solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Data Engineer or Databricks Consultant, with practical experience in Databricks environments.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks.
  • Solid programming experience with Python and/or PySpark.
  • Good knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
  • Familiarity with Git and code versioning practices is considered a plus.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
  • Assertive and proactive communication style, with the ability to take ownership of assigned activities.
  • Strong sense of urgency and prioritization when managing competing demands and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining consistent delivery and communication.
