Accountabilities
- Own annual and long-term go-to-market planning across revenue, staffing, resourcing, and related financial objectives for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Analytics teams to align GTM targets, spending, and investments with the broader financial plan.
- Build and maintain models covering CAC, LTV, payback periods, sales and customer success capacity, productivity, and other key SaaS and GTM efficiency metrics.
- Use financial and operational analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and recommend how go-to-market resources should be allocated.
- Query the data warehouse directly using SQL to build datasets, validate financial and operational figures, investigate business questions, and identify meaningful trends.
- Translate complex datasets and financial analysis into clear insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
- Automate recurring GTM reporting and analytical workflows to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and the speed at which stakeholders can act on insights.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and ongoing performance analysis while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and meeting critical deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, reporting infrastructure, and the use of automation and AI across finance and GTM activities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience spanning data or analytics and finance or FP&A, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
- Hands-on experience with go-to-market and SaaS metrics such as pipeline, bookings, ARR, CAC, LTV, payback, sales efficiency, capacity, and productivity.
- Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to work directly within a data warehouse to build, investigate, and validate datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills combined with strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or another related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect financial and operational data to broader business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial or analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable moving fluidly between SQL-based data analysis and detailed financial models.
- Genuine curiosity about go-to-market operations and how Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success contribute to sustainable growth.
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy, deadlines, and high-quality execution.
