This role offers the opportunity to shape the architecture of enterprise-grade technology solutions in a modern Microsoft <ecosystem.You> will define and evolve scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance architectures aligned with strategic business <needs.As> a technical reference, you will guide development teams and influence engineering standards across complex initiatives.A key focus will be modernizing legacy C# applications and transitioning them toward decentralized, cloud-ready <architectures.You> will combine architectural expertise with hands-on experimentation, evaluating technologies and developing proofs of concept.The position also requires close collaboration with Security, Data, Governance, and engineering teams to ensure robust and compliant <solutions.It> is an ideal opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys technical leadership, modernization, innovation, and solving complex enterprise challenges.
Accountabilities
- Define, document, and continuously evolve enterprise solution architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, performance, security, and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as a technical reference for C# and .NET development standards, guiding developers and conducting structural-level technical and code reviews.
- Lead the modernization of legacy C# applications toward modern, decentralized architectures based on microservices and cloud technologies.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools within the Microsoft ecosystem, developing proofs of concept and assessing technical feasibility.
- Identify architectural risks and recommend practical, scalable solutions to address them.
- Create comprehensive technical architecture documentation, including logical, physical, and integration views and diagrams.
- Establish and promote architectural standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices across strategic projects.
- Collaborate closely with Information Security, Data, Governance, and engineering teams to ensure technical and corporate compliance.
- Support technical decision-making and contribute to the evolution of the organization's technology landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Solutions Architect, with strong expertise in the .NET ecosystem and C#.
- Advanced knowledge of C# and modern .NET technologies, including .NET Core and .NET 6+, as well as SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns.
- Practical experience modernizing legacy technology environments and working with medium- to large-scale enterprise ecosystems.
- Hands-on knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
- Familiarity with application security protocols and standards, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Basic understanding of applying Artificial Intelligence to software development, including Prompt Engineering, LLMs, Agents, and MCP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to influence technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and translate complex architectural concepts into practical solutions.
- Postgraduate education or specialization in Software Architecture or Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with architecture governance frameworks such as TOGAF is desirable.
