Accountabilities
- The role is responsible for defining quality strategies, improving software reliability, and driving the adoption of advanced testing practices across complex technology projects.
- Design end-to-end quality strategies and establish long-term technical guidelines for software reliability and testing practices.
- Architect, validate, and continuously improve complex mobile test automation frameworks and accelerators.
- Research, adopt, and govern new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence solutions such as LLMs and autonomous agents to optimize testing processes.
- Build and evolve Quality Gates, test observability practices, and automated testing pipelines within complex CI/CD environments.
- Influence software architecture decisions to ensure systems are testable, resilient, scalable, and reliable.
- Perform mobile application testing activities, ensuring quality across different devices and operating environments.
- Mentor and support the technical development of other quality engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Work directly with strategic clients and technical stakeholders, translating quality metrics into business insights.
- Define, monitor, and improve quality indicators, testing reports, and reliability measurements.
- Validate APIs, microservices integrations, and complex system behaviors to ensure end-to-end product quality.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is a senior quality professional with strong experience in mobile automation, software reliability, and modern engineering practices.
- Solid experience in software quality processes for complex systems, including test modeling, scenario creation, testing strategies, and management reports.
- Strong experience building and customizing mobile test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Appium for frontend mobile testing.
- Knowledge of Kotlin for Android development and Swift for iOS environments.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles and software design patterns.
- Experience integrating quality processes into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar solutions.
- Experience working with containers, including Docker.
- Practical experience validating APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Experience applying Artificial Intelligence tools to software testing workflows, including test data generation, automation script creation, correction, or process optimization.
- Ability to define, track, and improve quality metrics and create clear analytical testing reports.
- Experience mentoring quality teams and supporting technical growth.
- Experience collaborating directly with enterprise clients and technical leadership.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing practices such as load, performance, and stress testing using tools like K6 or JMeter is a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency for professional communication is considered an advantage.
