THE WORK

You’ll build good working relationships with the project team to ensure timely, accurate flow of cost related information

You’ll perform the necessary research and assemble all information regarding current cost performances

You’ll develop integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations

You’ll create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately

You’ll provide variance reporting and analysis to ensure any deviation from project plan is highlighted, analyzed, and reported as directed

You’ll identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management

You’ll perform budget, financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts

You’ll maintain management tracking spreadsheets

You’ll pull data queries

Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of experience in accounting / cost controls in the field or in a related area
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Accenture requirements

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience working within a regulated utility
  • Proficient users of Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel ((Pivot tables and V-lookups)
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Must be able to self-manage and work well in a changing environment
  • Good written and oral communications skills with analytical experience
