Senior Production & Video Editor

Own the post-production function at one of Australia's fastest-growing brands.

GYG produces a high volume of video across campaigns, TVCs, social, and always-on. This is the senior craft authority for all of it the person who sets the editing, colour, and motion standard across every piece of video the brand puts out, from a 6-second TikTok to a broadcast TVC.

What You'll Do

• Lead editing and post-production across campaigns, brand films, TVCs, and always-on content
• Hold sign-off authority on all major video output and set the editing standard the wider team works to
• Cut with intent applying senior craft judgement to pacing, rhythm, structure, and narrative flow
• Own the colour grading layer across every piece of video content GYG produces, including LUTs and treatments
• Ensure colour consistency across campaign, social, and always-on content in collaboration with the Creative Production Director
• Design and animate motion graphics for TVC, social, in-restaurant screens, and digital
• Build and maintain motion design systems and template libraries
• Own GYG's motion language as a recognisable, ownable part of the brand identity
• Advise on production approach during pre-production including format, framing, lens choice, and shot lists
• Lead post-production planning including timelines, workflow, and resource allocation
• Mentor junior team members and champion adoption of AI tooling in the post-production workflow

What You'll Bring

• Significant experience (e.g. 10+ years) editing, colour grading, and motion design in a brand, agency, or production company environment
• Expert in DaVinci Resolve with proven colour grading credentials across broadcast, paid digital, and social
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Demonstrated expertise across the full post-production pipeline: edit, colour, motion, sound, conform, and delivery
• Strong typographic and motion design sensibility not just technical execution
• Experience finishing work for broadcast TVC and major paid digital campaigns
• Track record of mentoring junior team members and lifting craft standards
