About The Role

As a Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you will have an opportunity to create impact and develop long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, and to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You will require strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex cross-functional collaborations.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA, MS or other advanced degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience across business development/management consulting or strategy roles.
  • Experience in researching consumer trends, participant strategies and industry developments.
  • Excellent strategic consultation, communication and investigative skills to work with cross functional and executive stakeholders.
  • Exposure to media and content strategy, working with creators, publishers or internet based Businesses and exposure to Project Management, Program Management or Product Management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow strong commercial and strategic partnerships and develop new partnership opportunities.
  • Support partners to understand and adopt YouTube products or features to grow their channels and audience.
  • Analyze and track metrics to identify trends and highlight issues to ensure performance growth.
  • Execute against key distribution and product adoption metrics and recommend improvements internally.
  • Work with teams across YouTube and cross-functional teams to share partner feedback, resolve business issues and scale opportunities.
