Rowland Veterinary Services is seeking a Co-Medical Director to join our collaborative, multi-doctor veterinary team in beautiful Eastern Tennessee. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys mentorship, leadership, and practicing high-quality medicine while maintaining an exceptional work-life balance.
We're looking for a personable and motivated DVM with 3+ years of clinical experience who is passionate about patient care, team development, and helping shape the future of a thriving community-focused practice.
The Opportunity
As Co-Medical Director, you'll have the opportunity to
- Provide clinical leadership while maintaining an active caseload
- Mentor and support fellow veterinarians and support staff
- Collaborate on medical protocols, patient care standards, and hospital initiatives
- Promote a culture of teamwork, learning, and accountability
- Help drive hospital growth while preserving the compassionate care our clients value
- Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on veterinary medicine

4 day schedule
No weekends
No on-call responsibilities

What We're Looking For
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Tennessee
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical veterinary experience

Up to $155,000 Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)
Monthly Medical Director stipend
Quarterly production bonus with no negative accrual.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
