Calling all Veterinary Technicians and Experienced Veterinary Assistants!

Western Veterinary Partners is hiring across multiple veterinary hospitals throughout the greater Salt Lake City area. Whether you're an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), an experienced Veterinary Assistant, interested in a leadership opportunity, or looking for a unique, full-time Regional Technician position, we'd love to learn more about your career goals.

Compensation

  • Veterinary Technician $22 - $31/ hour
  • Veterinary Assistant: $15 - $20/ hour
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by position, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Benefits

  • Bonus package: Select positions may offer sign-on bonuses of up to $2,000, depending on the role, location, and credentials.
  • CE allowance: $500-$1,000 available annually for CVTs, based on tenure

What we’re looking for

Depending on the opportunity, qualifications may include

  • Active Utah Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials or eligibility for licensure
  • Recent CVT graduates preparing for the VTNE are encouraged to apply
  • Prior clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care

Technical skills may include

Anesthesia monitoring

Surgical assistance

Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography

Patient nursing care

Laboratory diagnostics

Digital radiography

Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

Exam room support and client education
