And we’re just getting started!Position SummaryThe Sales Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the training and development strategy for Statewide Remodeling's In-Home Sales organization. This role ensures that new and existing Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, and Sales Leaders receive the knowledge, coaching, and resources necessary to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving sales performance goals.The Sales Training Manager partners closely with Sales Leadership to identify performance gaps, reinforce best practices, improve closing effectiveness, increase average ticket size, shorten ramp-up time for new hires, and support organizational growth through world-class training programs.This position requires extensive travel to local markets throughout the Statewide Remodeling footprint.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Strategy & DevelopmentDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales training strategy aligned with company <objectives.Design> onboarding programs for newly hired Sales <Consultants.Build> advanced learning paths for experienced sales professionals.Create leadership development programs for Sales Managers.Develop instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning content.Maintain all sales training materials, playbooks, presentations, videos, and job <aids.New> Hire TrainingResponsible for the interviewing and hiring of sales reps.Facilitate all new hire sales onboarding.Teach company products, sales process, financing options, CRM systems, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.Evaluate trainee readiness before independent selling.Monitor new hire performance during the first 90 days and provide additional coaching as needed.Field CoachingTravel regularly to regional markets to observe in-home sales appointments.Conduct ride-alongs and field <observations.Coach> Sales Consultants on:Needs assessmentProduct presentationObjection handlingClosing techniquesFinancing conversationsCustomer communicationProfessionalismProvide individualized development plans.Sales Performance ImprovementPartner with Sales Leadership to improve:Close ratesRevenue per leadAverage contract valueLead conversionFinancing penetrationCustomer satisfactionSales process consistencyAnalyze sales metrics to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.Leadership PartnershipPartner with:Regional Sales DirectorSales ManagersRecruitingMarketingOperationsProvide recommendations regarding:Training prioritiesCoaching opportunitiesNew product launchesProcess improvementsTalent readinessLearning Content DevelopmentDevelop and maintain:Sales playbooksProduct training guidesCompetitive selling toolsVideo learning modulesRole-play scenariosCertification programsKnowledge assessmentsManager coaching guidesContinuous ImprovementEvaluate training effectiveness using sales performance data.Gather participant feedback to improve learning programs.Stay current on adult learning methodologies and residential home improvement sales best practices.Recommend innovative training technologies and learning solutions.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of successful residential in-home sales experience3+ years of sales training, coaching, or leadership experienceExperience interviewing and selecting new employeesExperience designing and facilitating adult learning programsStrong presentation and facilitation skillsExperience analyzing sales metrics and performance dataAbility to travel up to 60%PreferredHome improvement industry experienceWindow, siding, roofing, bath, or home remodeling experienceExperience with Salesforce or similar CRM systemsInstructional design experienceProfessional training certification (ATD, CPTD, etc.)Renuity and its affiliates are committed to equal opportunity.
