This role covers full cycle accounting and is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning month-end processes and wants to grow their career with a company that values accuracy, initiative, and clear communication. This role reports directly to the Assistant Controller.What You'll DoOwn full cycle accounting responsibilities, from transaction entry through financial statement preparationPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as part of the monthly close processReconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, and fixed assetsAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededSupport preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsAnalyze account variances and research discrepanciesAssist with audit preparation, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor requestsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policiesMaintain organized, accurate records to support financial reporting and audit trailsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Billing, HR) to support broader business needsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to full cycle accountingSolid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accountingExperience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Ramp is a plusStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, variances, and discrepanciesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently as a self-starter in a remote environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhy Join Neon OneAt Neon One, we're on a mission to connect nonprofits with the technology and resources they need to build communities of generosity.
