Apple is seeking an MLB Product Engineer with excellent Electrical Engineering design
and debug skills to work with Product Design, Test, Product Quality, Supplier Quality,
Contract Manufacturers, and field organizations to deliver high quality & designed
systems. Outstanding program management skill is highly desired.
## Description
A successful MLB Product Engineer is a highly technical, self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented electrical engineer. You must be adept at driving actions, resolving conflicts, and communicating effortlessly across all levels of the organization
## Minimum qualifications
3+ years experience in electrical design (ideally both digital and analog such as system design, component I/O, Power delivery, Power electronics, etc), track record of electrical design improvements, electrical test, debug & integration of electronics into systems
BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering
## Preferred qualifications
Familiar with design and schematic tools.
Familiarity with board and system electronic test strategies: In-Circuit Testing, board functional tests, and industry standard test methodologies
Demonstrated excellence in organization, execution and program management in complex cross functional projects.
Excellent skills in failure analysis of systems, circuits, and their components
Drive technical root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve system quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Precise technical communication including deep level of engineering analysis and details.
Demonstrated initiative with a high level of energy, and methodical & efficient problem solving skills including engineering DOEs.
Familiarity in system manufacturing, SMT, and transitioning new products into manufacturing.
Experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools to derive meaningful results and drive key decisions to solve problems.
