We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer. In this fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate closely with business teams to design and implement solutions that drive business outcomes.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to design and architect internal web-based software applications. These applications are key to enabling in-app experiences for creating unique, customized content and delivering real-time visualizations and insights about the Apple supply chain that delivers products our customers love.

The right candidate will collaborate with users, management, and technical peers (across the company) and develop solutions to solve increasingly complex problems.

This is an amazing opportunity for an engineer with several years of development experience who is passionate about highly intuitive user interface design, outstanding user experiences, and wants to directly impact Apple business operations.

We are looking for a self-motivated engineer who can seize the opportunity to revolutionize our supply chain business utilizing AI tooling. You should have a front-end eye for design and experience in architecting and implementing scalable APIs, designing database schema and managing the containerized server software stack. As this team prides itself in embracing emerging technologies, you should have the ability to research, recommend and apply the most appropriate technology for the task. Working In collaboration with our business teams and technical partners, this role will work to actively improve the usability, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of our global Supply Chain teams through innovative software solutions.

## Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering

7+ years development experience with web frameworks

Proficient in technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, Go, PHP (Laravel), Python, Node.js, and SQL

## Preferred qualifications

Excellent software design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills

Ability to write clean, modular, robust code to implement features in a fast paced, iterative environment

Collaborative mindset; experience with Git and Github

Experience with relational (PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases, GraphQL, RESTful services, UNIX tools, basic scripting

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment solutions

Ensure robust security and access control in software applications

Passion for new and emerging technologies

Able to communicate technical issues with a non-technical audience

Familiarity with the Lean Startup software development methodology

Maniacal attention to detail

Proficiency with coding agents, like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex

Experience with tuning ML models a plus

Comfortable working with remote employees or international teams
