Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Southend-on-Sea City Council in recruiting a Senior Social Worker to join their Adult Prevention Team on a permanent basis.

Salary of £46,142 - £52,413 per annum (depending on experience)

Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload of adults requiring assessment, support and safeguarding intervention.
- Undertake Care Act Assessments and statutory reviews.
- Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and chair Best Interest meetings.
- Lead on safeguarding enquiries and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards work.
- Support the Team Manager by providing guidance and leadership to Social Workers and Social Care Assessors.
For This Role You Will Need
A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
Registration with Social Work England.
Successful completion of ASYE.
At least 3 years' post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care.
Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Adult Safeguarding legislation.
