About The Role
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker to join its client's Children and Families Service. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practitioner with proven experience in Child Protection and Court Work to join a supportive and well-established team.
The role will be primarily based at Wyvern House in Winsford, with some flexibility for agreed home working days. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families through complex statutory work.
What will your responsibilities be?
Manage a caseload of complex Children and Families cases, including Child Protection and care proceedings.
Undertake statutory assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with legislation and local procedures.
Prepare high-quality court reports and give evidence within the Child Protection Court arena.
Work directly with children and families to assess risk, promote welfare, and achieve timely, positive outcomes.
Liaise effectively with legal services, partner agencies, and internal teams to ensure robust safeguarding practice.
Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Participate in supervision and contribute positively to team working and service development.

Skills and Qualification Required
To be successful in this role you must have;
Degree level qualification in Social Work (or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience within Children and Families services.
Essential experience in Child Protection and Court Work.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and court processes.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team.
Eligible to work in the UK.
