Work Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:30AM – 5:30PM with one late day 10AM – 7PM
Friday: 8AM-5PM
- At least one Saturday a month: 9AM-3PM
- Compensation: Up to $31-$33/hour, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Assistant Director of Admissions (ADOA) to support and help lead the campus admissions team. This leadership role is ideal for a performance-focused professional who is passionate about student success and experienced in driving enrollment growth within a metrics-driven environment. The ADOA partners closely with the Director of Admissions to oversee the full inquiry-to-enrollment cycle, ensuring prospective students are guided through a seamless, compliant, and high-quality admissions experience.
As the Assistant Director of Admissions, you will coach, mentor, and develop admissions representatives while maintaining accountability for individual and team performance goals. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration across departments, and the ability to balance hands-on recruitment efforts with departmental oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, leads by example, and is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance, and student-centered service.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Director of Admissions (DOA) to lead the campus admissions department through the complete inquiry cycle to recruit and enroll students to meet departmental targets (*Note: the ADOA will be expected to work individual leads as needed)
Train, support, mentor, lead and facilitate the development of admissions staff
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Financial Aid, Marketing, etc.) to ensure a seamless admissions process for perspective students while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
Conduct school tours and attend open houses and weekend events, support student orientations
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with the prospective students from enrollment through graduation
Maintain departmental files on applicable regulatory standards, policies and procedures
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED
BS/BA preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in an admissions or similar, metrics-driven position, preferred
- Effective, flexible, high-performance leadership and team management skills
- Ability to coach and assist in the growth and development of individual Admissions team members
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Consultative approach with excellent listening skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Exhibits a positive, team-oriented attitude by remaining flexible and available to work outside of scheduled hours when needed, as directed by the Supervisor
