What Makes This Role Different

We’ve built AI-powered tools into our recruiting workflow that handle initial candidate matching, screening, and outreach drafting. That means you start where it matters — the relationship. Your job is to do what AI cannot: build trust with candidates, understand what they actually need, and match them to the right opportunity.

No previous recruiting or staffing experience required. We’ll teach you the industry. What we can’t teach is the natural ability to connect with people and the drive to grow.

Pay Structure

• $45,000–$50,000+ base salary
• Uncapped commission earnings
• Two raises in the first year
• $500 bonus at 6 months

Responsibilities

• Call candidates daily and build an active pipeline of available tradespeople.
• Interview, screen, and qualify applicants using your own judgment and our AI-assisted tools.
• Match the best candidates to client orders based on trade, location, pay, and availability.
• Confirm start details, orient candidates on assignment expectations, and send job site information.
• Check in on day one and week one. Build the relationship for redeployment and referrals.
• Keep candidate records up to date in Bullhorn throughout the placement lifecycle.

What Success Looks Like

At 6 Months

• Hitting placement and activity benchmarks to earn the 6-month bonus.
• Managing an active pipeline with consistent weekly availability updates.
• Referrals starting to come in from placed workers.

At 12 Months

• Placement rate, candidate satisfaction, and redeployment rate at or above team benchmarks.
• Fully comfortable with Bullhorn and our AI recruiting tools.

Qualifications

Required

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work.
• Natural relationship builder — people enjoy talking to you and you listen well.
• Self-directed — you manage your own day and hold yourself accountable without someone watching.
• Comfortable on the phone — this is a high-call-volume role (50 calls/day minimum)
• Curious about technology — you’re willing to learn new software and interested in how AI tools can make you more effective.
• Positive attitude and genuine ambition to grow.

Preferred (not required)

• Experience in construction, trades, or any industry working with hourly workers.
• Previous customer service, sales, or outreach experience where relationship-building was the core skill.
• Familiarity with ATS or CRM software. (We train everyone on Bullhorn regardless.)
