Role Overview
We are a SaaS company launching a Product-Led Growth (PLG) product. We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Ecosystem Growth Lead to drive user acquisition through ecosystem channels.
This role is responsible for identifying, building, and activating high-leverage distribution channels including technology marketplaces, partner ecosystems, communities, and integration platforms. The goal is simple: get the product in front of the right users at scale.
You will work closely with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships to turn ecosystem presence into a predictable growth engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Ecosystem Strategy & Channel Identification
- Identify high-impact ecosystems where our ICP already exists (e.g., app marketplaces, SaaS platforms, communities, integration hubs)
- Evaluate opportunities based on user density, intent, and integration potential
- Prioritize and build a roadmap for ecosystem-driven growth
- Marketplace & Platform Distribution
- Launch and optimize listings on relevant marketplaces (e.g., Salesforce AppExchange, HubSpot Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, Shopify App Store, etc.)
- Own positioning, messaging, and conversion optimization within these platforms
- Manage reviews, ratings, and marketplace performance
- Strategic Partnerships for PLG Distribution
- Build relationships with complementary SaaS companies
- Develop co-marketing, co-selling, and integration-based distribution strategies
- Negotiate win-win exposure opportunities
- Community & Organic Ecosystem Growth
- Identify and activate relevant communities
- Partner with influencers or ecosystem leaders where appropriate
- Drive organic product discovery within high-intent environments
- Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Define KPIs for ecosystem-driven acquisition
- Track activation, conversion, and retention from ecosystem channels
- Continuously optimize based on data

- Strong and consistent user acquisition from ecosystem channels
- High-performing marketplace listings
- Strategic integrations driving product adoption
- Clear attribution and measurable ROI from ecosystem efforts
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4-8+ years experience in growth, partnerships, ecosystem, or marketplace roles in SaaS
- Experience with PLG or self-serve SaaS products
- Proven track record of driving user acquisition through partnerships or marketplaces
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with growth metrics
Nice-to-Have
- Experience launching on major SaaS marketplaces
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Marketing
Background in B2B SaaS
