  • committed: Global Procurement Specialist / Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) Are

  • semiconductor Greenfield project? As a Global Procurement Specialist /
  • Strategic Buyer, you will take ownership of the commercial end-to-end
  • sourcing process for critical materials supporting our brand-new
  • manufacturing site in Dresden. You will negotiate high-volume global
  • contracts, mitigate supply chain risks, and build resilient
  • partnerships with key international suppliers. If you thrive at the

  • make a global impact. Tasks Strategic Sourcing: Develop, negotiate,
  • and execute end-to-end global sourcing strategies and contracts to
  • ensure a highly resilient, cost-effective supply of critical
  • materials. Supplier Partnership Management: Build and nurture
  • long-term strategic relationships with a global supplier base to

secure high-quality materials and services. Commercial Negotiation

  • Lead commercial negotiations, drive total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • optimization, and actively manage commercial risks. Performance
  • Monitoring : Evaluate and manage supplier performance against key
  • quality, delivery, cost, and risk metrics to ensure full contract
  • compliance. Risk & Supply Resilience: Proactively identify and resolve
  • supplier-related issues, including delivery disruptions and quality
  • deviations, using data-driven preventive actions. Cross-Functional
  • Alignment: Collaborate closely with engineering, fab operations,
  • finance, and HQ procurement teams to align sourcing activities with
  • production budgets and timelines. Process Excellence: Contribute to
  • continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows
  • and scale up supply chain operations. Governance & ESG: Ensure strict
  • compliance with all internal policies, contractual obligations, trade
  • laws, and ESG standards across all purchasing activities. Profile
  • Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain

Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, IT, or a

  • related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of strategic procurement
  • or supply chain experience within an international industrial setting.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in commercial negotiations,

contract management, and strategic supplier evaluation. Languages

  • Proficiency in English (C1) and German (C1) is required for seamless
  • collaboration with local and global stakeholders. Mindset: Strong
  • analytical thinking, attention to detail in contract review, and the
  • ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • International Onboarding: Willingness to complete an intensive
  • training of 3-6 months at TSMC Taiwan. Nice to have: Industry
  • Knowledge: Prior experience in the semiconductor, chemical, or
  • advanced materials industry. Certifications: Professional supply chain
  • or procurement certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, ISM CPSM).
  • Global Mindset: Experience in collaborating with Asian business
