Senior Program Manager

ROLE SUMMARY 

Under the leadership of the Director of Program Management, we are hiring a Principal Program Manager Contractor to facilitate release management and project management for at least one product. This role is critical to our 2026 releases and will be responsible for dependency management, risk management, and on-time delivery of projects. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Ensure all required release activities are on time, on track, and accounted for through our documented release workflows 
• Keep stakeholders up to date on multiple releases 
• Organize and run cross-functional status meetings with efficiency 
• Communicate with stakeholders to escalate and remove impediments and manage risk 
• Own the processes for your products and be willing to assist others as necessary 
• Coordinate planning activities and the documentation of process changes 
• Backup or run at least one non-release project or program 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• High level of organization and attention to detail 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems 
• Ability to motivate others 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree  
• 4+ years working with Jira and Confluence or equivalent 
• Experience with release and project management 
• Experience working with software development teams and management 
• PMP certification or equivalent 
• Experience with Agile project management or Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban
